This year Prowine decided to pay a visit to one of the biggest Wine Shows in the capital of China, Beijing – TopWine 2016, to keep ourselves up to date with the vibrant Chinese Wine Market. It was held at China National Convention Centre in the area of Beijing Olympic Green with 22000sqm of exhibition area.
We were happy to see some familiar faces and brands from South Australia at the show – Irvine Wines, Rusden Wines and Ceravolo Wines. We were glad to be there to support them as well as catch up with our existing clients.
We have also discovered that OEM orders seemed to be an ever emerging trend among Chinese buyers. We hope to see in the near future that the quality of the wine itself, as well as its packaging, be the main focus during the purchasing process and not just the cost. Overall Australian wine was represented well with South Australia being the dominant state with what appeared to be an emphasis on quality product.
