Barossa Wine Show – Thurs 19th Sept.
This year’s Barossa Wine Show celebrated a record high 64 gold, 112 silver and 196 bronze medals from over 600 exhibits. To our credit, products that were put under our care at the bottling stage were awarded 7 of the 26 wine trophies handed out this year including Most Outstanding Barossa Table Wine, Premium Class; 2008 Eden Springs High Eden Riesling – this wine also attracted, Most Outstanding Single Vineyard Table Wine, Most Outstanding Barossa White Table Wine, Best Dry White Riesling one year old & older.
Congratulations also goes to;
Hentley Farm 2012 ‘The Stray Mongrel’ for Best Dry Red Grenache & / or Mourvedre dominant blends and Most Outstanding Barossa Red Table Wine – premium class.
Yelland & Papps 2012 Devote Roussanne for Best Dry White Wine, other varieties / blends.
This year the Prowine Sponsored Trophy, Best Dry White Semillon, Class 3 was awarded to Peter Lehmann Wines – 2008 Margaret Semillon.
Clare Wine Show – Fri 1st Nov.
At Prowine we take pride in our wine handling procedures, yet again proven when – Crabtree Watervale Wines, Crabtree Watervale Riesling 2009 picked up Best Exhibition Section Dry Riesling, 2011 Vintage and older (Prowine Sponsored Trophy) plus Best Riesling of Show and also Best Single Vineyard Wine.

Adelaide Hills Wine Show – Fri 29th Nov.
Always a treat to attend, held at Mt Lofty House overlooking the picturesque Piccadilly Valley.
This year the Prowine Sponsored Trophy, Best Chardonnay of Show, went to Lobethal Road, 2012 Bacchant Chardonnay.
Congratulations also go to Nepenthe Wines, 2012 Altitude Tempranillo for picking up – Best Red Wine in Classes other than Classes 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12.
