Our People - Laboratory/Cellar
LABORATORY: Amanda Cobain & Elyse Bell. Amanda, our Laboratory Supervisor joined us at the start of 2010 and brings with her considerable Quality Assurance and systems experience. Her CV includes approximately 12 years experience in various rolls including Laboratory Technician at Penfolds Winery in Nuriootpa, Adelaide University, Wolf Blass and more recently in a Quality Assurance role with Angas Park.
Elyse Bell assists Amanda in the lab on a casual basis as required. Elyse brings technical experience with her from a Bachelor of Science at Adelaide University. (Currently mid stream majoring in Micro Biology). Both girls share the responsibility of pre and post bottling analysis on site and have settled into their new environment well.
CELLAR SUPERVISOR: Mark Gattermayr
Mark joined the Prowine team in January of 2007, and like most of our senior staff brought with him an extensive CV, from a long and successful career in the cellar and wine making areas. With over 24 years cellar experience, including stints at Yaldara, Yalumba, Ross Estate, Tarac Bottlers and Wolf Blass, Mark has pretty much done everything in the cellar you could think of. This vast experience is well utilised and sees Mark in charge of all aspects of our cellar, from wine arrivals to transfers, additions and adjustments.
